The Weeneebayko Area Health Authority provides healthcare and medical services to the residents of Moose Factory, Moosonee, Fort Albany, Kashechewan, Attawapiskat and Peawanuck.

The government of Ontario covers important operating cost at WAHA but does not fund equipment purchases or capital improvements. At the Foundation, we must source the funds to ensure that our patients receive the best health care possible with  the latest life-saving equipment and state of the art facilities.
