The Weeneebayko Foundation is an Accredited Charity, formed to support the WAHA Health care facilities along the James and Hudson Bay coast by raising funds for medical equipment, beyond funding available from government sources.

Guided by our values of gratitude, accountability and respect, we are committed to ensuring our hospital has the resources it needs to provide medical care to patients close to home.

Our ultimate goal, with the assistance of our donors, volunteers and WAHA staff is to provide best health care to our communities and ensure our hospital and healthcare teams can deliver the best in specialized care to patients in the Weeneebayko area.
